The summer of 2003 was one of the first of the scorching record-breakers of the early 21st Century, and Sunday August 10th was the hottest day of that insanely hot year. It was still opressively warm when Bar Phono opened that night, indeed the heat was so intense that the club's amplifiers cut out altogether half way through the night, and were only restored to working order with the aid of the fan usually used to keep the DJs cool. It was still a fantastic night though, these pictures attempt to capture some of th atmosphere.
